Would get the distance between the bends is just enough to go top to bottom with ends clamping onto back of the top and bottom rails huh.gif

I did have a good hunt around on the interweb but I couldn't find any dimensions. However the brackets on my W&P dash a situated just inside the air vents and between the main clocks and the and the radio hole. As Steve says you need to make the brackets long enough to go into the dash rails from behind. I would suggest you measure between the back edge of the dash rails were you want the brackets to go and add about 10mm to that length. This will be the dimension between the bends on the bracket. The tabs need to be about 25mm long.
From memory the wood blocks for the treaded pieces are about 20mm thick.

Hope this helps but it will be a bit of trial and error.

OK i gave in and bought some of my own so here are the dimensions for anyone who doesnt want to pay ninjaeyesm.gif

There are: three brackets (A, B and C), three blocks of wood (also A, B and C) 6 Studs, 6 wing nuts and 6 washers

Dimentions are as follows:

Bracket A: aprrox. 2mm thick steel 230mm long with 90 degree bends at 20mm at one end and 30mm at the other.
Bracket B: approx. 2mm thick steel 240mm long with 90 degree bends at 20mm at one end and 30mm at the other.
Bracket C: approx. 2mm thick steel 220mm long with 90 degree bends at 20mm at one end and 30mm at the other.

Block A: MDF or other strong wood 120mm x 17mm x 32mm
Block B: MDF or other strong wood 155mm x 17mm x 32mm
Block C: MDF or other strong wood 110mm x 17mm x 32mm

All studs are M6 60mm long, altough i would suggest getting longer ones for block B
All wing/butterfly nuts are M6 as well
I forgot to measure the washers so i will add the dimentions for them later

Block and bracket A go to the right of the speedo block and bracket B goes to the right of the glove box and block and bracket go to the left of the glove box.

Simply drill and tap holes for the studs and glue them firmly in place then drill holes in the brackets for them to fit into.

Put the brackets in so that the bends hold it around the top and bottom dash rails and put the studs through the holes. then put the washers on and tighten the wing nuts over them.

If you still have questions or i havent expained anythign just ask smile.gif

Thanks for the info. thanks.gif

Have you fitted your dash yet? When I fited my dash I had to take it out again because of a couple rattles and squeaks. All I can say is make sure the clocks are tight to the dash panel.
