Well everyone seems to have beaten us to it lol laugh.gif

Me and Elisa would like to thank all our helpers again for all their hard work both setting up, selling and marshalling smile.gif you have made our first Mini Mania a great and memorable day (of which you have seen Elisa's emotions lol).

We are also proud to say that on the quiet from Iain we have made a bonus of roughly £100 on last years takings so things must be good, we await the final sum soon.

We have also recruited about 16 new members from the show so well done guys, you know who you are also a big thank you to the kids for manning the games and shaking the buckets. Pantastic you were great and lots of people have commented so well done to you lot, we will be booking you again for next year. We have also done well on the Help for Heroes stand we are currently counting now, so yet another thanks lol.

HERES TO NEXT YEAR WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN PUT IN MOTION AT OUR FAVORITE PLACE SEABURN, YEAH!!!

All I can say is that pre-event stresses aside, that was the easiest and most laid back Mini Mania I've been to. Possibly because loads of people were willing to chip in and help out. Pantastic were outstanding, and we've given them a donation from the club as well as what went in the buckets.

Let those who want to complain about something (and there will be people who will find something to complain about) remember this: all those who were there to help and those there at the end of the day left SMILING, and that means the most to me. smile.gif

HELLO!

I'd just like to say thanks for a good day at Mini Mania, I was there with the wine red pickup.

I would just like to say that I'm from Tynemouth Mini, and I book most of the summer events, I tried to push the event Mini Mania with in our club at meetings etc in the end I decided that rather than book a club stand cars would come in as seperate entries as I couldn't get defenate yes or no's. However I only counted 7 of our cars there.

I normally have the red BMW with the ALZ reg on, however with your show venue and the weather I decided to bring the pickup instead.

Yes I know what you mean about just sorting the vibe out between the 2 clubs but the thing is there is alway 1 or 2 in every club that won't let things drop and its always their point that is heard above everyone else that just wants to get on and support the Mini new and old with in the NORTH EAST AREA no matter which club your a member of.

Anyway WELL DONE.

good to catch up with Alan and others, see you next at the IMM I will call across to your club stand to say hello.

PS The clubman estate parked next to me had the best finish I have seen on a mini, everything on the car is mint, I was well impressed.

Many thanks

Alan

Thanks Alan for your nice post im glad you could join in with our first show, me & Michael enjoyed it so much as you could probably tell by my emotions at the end lol. Hopefully we can work to the future in closing the gap between the 2 North East Clubs as there is no point in the divide in our opinions. We shall be supporting you in your show as we wont be attending MITP due to funds, we will be in a Classic & Bini.

Plans have already started for next year the proposal to Seaburn is nearly complete with the view to hold Mini Mania at Seaburns Showground in September of 2010 with hopefully no hitch lol.

Heres to 2010 and me and Michael will pop accross to see you guys at IMM to introduce ourselves properly as NEMC's Chairman & Secretary.

Yeah I had an awesome day too. Good walkabout, I agree the VTEC was awesome, had a great chat with the guys dad about the flip front and the Honda bonnet catches, got a few ideas for the front end of my 998 Blower.

Thanks to the organisers for putting on a great show.
